Board of Directors

The Board of Directors has overall responsibility for the operation of EMMAN Limited, including decisions on future developments and the range of services provided, and the financial performance of the company. The Board consists of senior staff from the eight member Universities in the East Midlands.

Management Committee

The Management Committee consists of representatives from the member institutions, the Further Education colleges, the Regional Support Centre, and JANET(UK). It meets at roughy bi-monthly intervals to discuss the development and performance of the network.

Managing Agents

The operational and strategic development of EMMAN is performed jointly by the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University as Managing Agents under the direction of the Management Committee.

Technical Group

The Technical Group consists of technical staff from the member sites, the Managing Agents, the Regional Support Centre and JANET(UK) and meets before each Management Committee meeting to discuss technical issues in the development and operation of EMMAN. It reports to the Management Committee.
